Curious to know where some of Austin's neighborhoods with the lowest property taxes are? We've put together a list of neighborhoods from Westlake to Georgetown based on 2017 tax rate information from Austin's Multiple Listing Service. SOUTH AUSTIN

Ridgeview (1.86% - 1.89%) - Home to one of the lowest tax rates in Southwest Austin, residents in Ridgeview can enjoy houses built by Pulte and Ashton Woods ranging from the low $400s to the low $500s. Access to the community pool and park ensures endless fun right outside your front door!

NORTH AUSTIN

Chimney Hills North (1.89%) - Situated between Highways 130 and 183, residents love Chimney Hills North for the "close in, yet far out" feel and the easy commute around Austin. This neighborhood features about 175 original and remodeled homes tucked against a green space and part of Walnut Creek.

WEST AUSTIN

Not only is the tax rate one of the lowest around, it is also located in the exemplary Eanes ISD.

Austin Lake Estates (1.86% - 1.9%) - This large neighborhood looks out along a stretch of Lake Austin and features some of the oldest homes in the area built in the 1950s and 1960s, some still in their original states and well maintained.
