Austin: Best City for Jobs

Austin tops list of Best Cities for Job Growth, according to Forbes Magazine. Austin employment expected to rise 4% annually.

Austin heads a rundown of seven Texas metro areas that rank around the 10 who are anticipated to have the quickest growth in jobs through 2015.  According to analysis done by Moody's Analytics,  Austin's employment rate is targeted to expand approximately 4% yearly. 
 
Accenture, At&t T and Time Warner Cable all affirmed major developments of their operations in Austin in 2013. National Instruments, which produces test and measurement hardware and software systems, said in February it estimates it will add 1,000 Austin jobs with an average estimated wage of $72,223. The organization is known for hiring employees right out of school and Austin offers a new crop each year as the home of the University of Texas. Late last year, Visa stated that it will construct a new software development center in the city, which will produce practically 800 new jobs with a $112,000 average annual salary.
